IZ meets IZ

P07-10-07_14.53

I was at Carrefour, Suntec City on Sunday when I came across iZ, the electronic musical toy. It allows users to interactively manipulate music by twisting particular parts of the figure's body as well as add sound effects to prerecorded sound from a connected audio device. It also acts as a dancing speaker.

Reading the manual, it says: "Although he is not a radio, he thinks he is." Hmm, that sounds just like me. Ha!

iZ facts about the toy -- the iZ is an interactive toy that interacts with music that is played through it. The iZ’s interactions include flashing lights from its nose horn, bouncing eyes, music changes, and comments.

iZ facts about age appropriateness -- the iZ toy is recommended for children ages five and up. Smaller children love to watch the iZ in all its silliness, but probably aren’t old enough to operate the toy.

iZ facts for getting the toy ready to play with -- the iZ toy uses four AA batteries and you will need a small-tipped Phillips screwdriver to install the batteries.

iZ facts about how it works -- the iZ interacts with music. It comes with a cord that can be plugged into any music source that has a headphone jack. Some commonly used music sources include radios, CD players, iPods, computers and MP3 players.

:o)

IZ is pretty cute with all his different modes and sounds. But, the kids get bored with it quickly.
