A good practice in the home is to place the newly purchased products in back of the same products already on the shelf. I just found this helpful guide that lists the recommended times for refrigerator and freezer food storage. For example, now I know eggs can only be kept in the fridge for 3 weeks max. Shit! Looks like all my eggs have to go into the bin now. From Clemson:
