Poor Tanglin Mall was the worst hit by floods caused by heavy rainfall on Sunday morning. It looked like a scene straight from the movies. Watch video above. PUB says it has not seen flooding like this in the last 25 years. The Orchard Road Business Association thinks more could have been done and says it is disappointed with PUB for its abject failure to control the rampant spate of flooding at Orchard. So what does the new Environment and Water Resources Minister Vivian Balakrishnan have to say about this? He personally thinks our weather has changed and he's psychologically prepared for it to get worse. That means one thing. More Singapore malls will become swimming pools.
