Catch the worldwide premiere of my documentary directorial debut, Kung Fu Journey. It was filmed entirely in Tagou Martial Arts School, the Shaolin Temple and its surrounding areas in Dengfeng, China.

Panasonic Lumix GH5 V-Log L Color Grading with FilmConvert

FilmConvert has just released new camera profile for the Panasonic Lumix GH5 which contains profile settings for all the pictures on the camera at launch, including V-Log L.

Here are some GH5 V-Log L 4K footage that were edited and colour graded by me using FilmConvert's GH5 camera profile. Additional grading was also done using Lumetri. Edited on Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

Mystery solved: Cannot connect to CNN.com

Recently I couldn't connect to CNN.com. I tried using Firefox, IE and Chrome and all these browsers had the same problem. Other websites loaded fine. So I tried clearing my cache and cookies. It did not work either. Thinking that it could be my network or my modem and router, I turned off my modem and router for a few minutes before turning it on again. Still it didn't work. I used my iPhone to connect to my network to check if CNN.com can be viewed on the iPhone. Surprisingly, it could! So it's definitely not a network or modem problem.



Next logical thing to check was if it's a firewall problem. Opened my McAfee and found out that Net Guard was blocking an IP address. Apparently McAfee thought this particular IP address could be harmful to my computer.



Next step I did was to allow Net Guard to allow this connection for all programs.



And CNN.com was back online!!! Problem solved.

Guns N' Roses Not In This Lifetime Tour Singapore

7 years ago, when I was filming Slash in Singapore, I never thought in my wildest dream that I would be able to watch the original Guns N' Roses lineup perform live in Singapore. You can watch the two Slash videos I shot below. I've been a huge Guns N Roses fan. I have all their CDs. I sang all their songs. I learned how to play guitar and drums because of Guns. When Slash was here in Singapore back then, I remember telling myself this is the closest I will ever get to seeing the original Guns N Roses.





In less than 2 weeks, I'll be rocking in the VIP Pen when Guns N Roses with Axl, Slash and Duff all reunited, perform live in Singapore. VIP baby!
