Singaporeans queue at McDonald's stores all over the country at the stroke of midnight to be the one of the first to get their hands on the limited edition Singing Bone Hello Kitty plushie, the last in the Hello Kitty Fairy Tale series. If you are still interested to buy one, too bad, it is sold out. You can try your luck on eBay but don't be shock at the prices these plushies are fetching.
S$ 125,900.00 for a plushie?!!! You gotta be kidding me. Doubt those bids are legitimate. A guy who spotted himself in the video above told me he sold his Hello Kitty for $150.

Yes, I have super powers! Hulk Smash!!!
Singapore was covered by a thick blanket of haze on 17 June 2013. The smoke haze from the fires in Sumatra was brought over by prevailing winds blowing from the southwest or west, and has affected Singapore since 13 June 2013. The PSI reading hit 155 at 10pm on 17 June 2013 and a record breaking 321 at 10pm on 19 June, the highest level ever, breaking the record set in September 1997 when the index reached 226
I shot the video above from a high rise building in the Redhill area. It shows how bad the haze really was. Distant buildings can no longer be seen. Everything is so grey and hazy. And you can barely spot the train coming out of the MRT station.
The PSI yesterday reached unhealthy levels so it was time for... Mask On!
UPDATE: The haze hit a record breaking 401 PSI at 12pm on 21 June, the highest level ever!

Darth Vader and two Storm Troopers hunt down the last of the Jedi Knights on Earth as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape. Star Wars Rebels: A Silent Film is made by the same dude (that's me!) who gave you the 1.6 million views smash hit, Hulk Smash Loki: The Avengers Epic Battle. The new Star Wars Rebels animated series will be coming soon to Disney XD in 2014. It will take place between Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope.
Good news for those of you in Singapore who loves to buy things from Amazon! They are offering free shipping to Singapore if your order includes at least $125 of qualifying merchandise, excluding the Import Fees Deposit, gift-wrap charges, duties, and taxes.
Forget about the GoPro, the Google Glass can be the ultimate POV action cam according to Mat Honan. He writes: "I wanted to see how Glass stacked up against other action cameras I’ve used. So the other day, on my way to work, I ditched my usual bike glasses for Glass with the windshield lens." This looks promising. If only Google Glass has a night vision mode and I will definitely use it on my show Singapore Haunted.
The Star Wars Han Solo in Carbonite Light Switch is a working switch installed in the crotch of Han Solo in Carbon Freeze. To turn the light on, just flip Han's willy! The maker says he hand-sculpted the switch plate and it installs directly to the wall over an existing switch outlet. I'm tempted to play with the switch many times.
For his latest work 36 Exposures, David Emitt Adams used 35mm film canisters discarded by his photography students as the base to hold their portraits. He writes: "I employed this labor-intensive, 19th-century photographic process to make the students’ portraits on the very film canisters that played a crucial role in their initial understanding of photography."
HommeMystere offers sexy underwear and lingerie for men. Yes you read that right. For men! Their mens lingerie feature delicate lace, stretchy satin, bows and patterns, many of which can be paired with matching sets of men's panties, thongs and bras. And no, I won't be wearing any of these.
chocolate chip cookie cone! He writes: " I decided to just bake one giant cookie in my oven and then roll it into a cone the second it was done baking, before it could harden. Well, I guess sometimes the simplest idea is the best, because this worked like a charm."
All Ikea products have weird Swedish names. Learn how to correctly pronounce their names thanks to Ikea In Swedish: "Too bad he (Ikea founder Ingvar Kamprad) didn't predict his company would be all over the world, leaving the rest of us clueless when it comes to the names. So learn how Swedes pronounce them and stop sounding ridiculous."

White stream of snow flows through the beautiful landscape in a valley in Austria. Check out the moving snow! This is a wet snow avalanche, a low velocity suspension of snow and water, with the flow confined to the track surface. Most avalanches occur spontaneously during storms under increased load due to snowfall. The second largest cause of natural avalanches is metamorphic changes in the snowpack such as melting due to solar radiation. Other natural causes include rain, earthquakes, rockfall and icefall. Artificial triggers of avalanches include skiers, snowmobiles, and controlled explosive work.

Minister for Communications and Information Yaacob Ibrahim gets the MDA Rap treatment in which he tries to explain why Singapore requires news websites to apply for licences. He says Singapore wants to protect the interests of the ordinary Singaporeans and therefore it is important that the government makes sure that they read the "right" thing.
The new regulations state that online news sites reporting on local "news and current affairs" will need individual licenses, they will need to put out a performance bond of S$50,000 to acquire the license, and licensees will be required to remove "prohibited content" within 24 hours of being notified to do so. Sounds absurd? You bet. It is as absurd as the infamous MDA Rap video.
Meanwhile, bloggers in Singapore do not fall into MDA's new licensing framework for news sites, yet. MDA says that an individual writing about current affairs and trends on his personal website or blog is not news reporting.
OMG Cat reacts to the biggest discovery yet on Mars.... the Mars Rat! Watch the video. The image was captured by Mars rover Curiosity at the Rocknest site on Mars with its MastCam camera on sol 52 (Sept. 28, 2012) of the mission. The Mars Rat is actually a rock that looks like a rat or is it a hamster, but don't tell that to the real Mars Rat on Twitter.
