A Morning In Moganshan

A morning spent in Moganshan also known as Mount Mogan in Hangzhou, China. Located 200km from Shanghai, the 719m high mountain is a popular tourist destination in China. It is a major bamboo area with lush bamboo forests on its slopes and surroundings.

Good morning from Mount Mogan! I’m staying at this nice inn surrounded by bamboo forest at Mount Mogan in Deqing County, Zhejiang Province in China. Mount Mogan also known as Moganshan in Chinese is located 200km from Shanghai and it is 719m high. It’s beautiful and peaceful here. I can sit here all day just staring at the bamboo forest.

Flying over West Lake, Hangzhou to catch sunset

Flew the DJI Mavic Pro drone to capture sunset over the famous West Lake in Hangzhou, China. The fresh water lake was selected in 2011 as a UNESCO Heritage Site. Additional shots taken with the GH5S. No background music used. Only natural sounds from the lake and forest.

Time to launch this baby! Flying over the beautiful West Lake, a Unesco World Heritage Site, here in Hangzhou, China. Will post some shots later.

Apple's "THREE MINUTES": A 3-Minute Recut

I did this 3-minute recut of Apple's Chinese New Year short film "THREE MINUTES". What if you only have 3 minutes for a reunion? What if you only have 3 minutes to tell this story?

Testing the Metabones Speed Booster Ultra on Panasonic MFT cameras

The Metabones Speedbooster Ultra allows the use of Canon EF lenses on Panasonic Lumix Micro Four Thirds bodies such as the GH5, G85, G9 and GH4. It increases maximum aperture by 1 stop and makes lens 0.71x wider. I tested the Metabones Ultra on my Panasonic bodies (video here) and found that it works pretty well with the Canon EF lenses including the monster zoom lens Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM.

This combo (Metabones + Canon 100-400) was used to shoot the recent total lunar eclipse with the Pansonic GH5 and G85.
