Steve Gladlin writes about The Nairobi Project: "In December of 2009, I received an email from someone in Nairobi, Kenya, asking if I'd buy one of his plays for $25,000 USD. The email exchange that followed culminated in me commissioning an original play, written to my specifications, for $50."
