Discarded 35mm film canisters make good portrait holder
For his latest work 36 Exposures, David Emitt Adams used 35mm film canisters discarded by his photography students as the base to hold their portraits. He writes: "I employed this labor-intensive, 19th-century photographic process to make the students’ portraits on the very film canisters that played a crucial role in their initial understanding of photography."
