Macoto Murayama's botanical drawings are out of this world
There is something very alien about Macoto Murayama's incredible botanical drawings. Spending months on a drawing, he first dissects his subject with a scalpel, from stamen to sepal. With the help of a microscope and magnifying glass, he then sketches and photographs each component before they are given the final treatment with 3ds Max and Photoshop.
