LEGO District 9 ARC Gun safe to use, doesn't fire lightning

Dude has built a replica of the ARC Gun that was used by the non-humans in District 9 movie. His LEGO ARC Gun doesn't fire any lightning bolt but it is still badass! District 9 is about an extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth. The movie was nominated for four Academy Awards in 2010.
