Walk with me as I climb up Baiwang Mountain
Baiwang Mountain is a lush, heavily forested park in Beijing. It covers an area of roughly 133 hectares and its peak is 210 meters above the sea level. Baiwang Mountain is often regarded as the oxygen source of Beijing because of its 95% lush vegetation coverage. There is plenty of historical culture in Baiwang Mountain such as its collection of steles with themes of protecting nature and promoting a green environment. The steles include inscriptions, poems, verses, paintings and calligraphy by country leaders, celebrities, painters and calligraphers.
