Photos of 1937 Sea Monster Hoax

In the summer of 1937, American puppeteer and designer Tony Sarg and several others promoted a hoax about a sea serpent. They advertised the sightings of a sea serpent in papers and even created footprints. Flickr photoset of the sea serpent hoax here.
