Apollo 8: Remembering NASA's giant leap to the moon
This week, NASA celebrates the 40th anniversary of Apollo 8, the first manned voyage to orbit the moon. The crew of Apollo 8 were the first humans to see the far side of the Moon and the first humans to see Earth from the orbit of another celestial body.
