Ultraman monsters painted on electric transformer boxes

In the hometown of Japanese special effects director Eiji Tsuburaya, you can find silhouettes of Ultraman monsters painted on electric transformer boxes. I'm not sure who painted these or why but probably they are a tribute to Tsuburaya who's responsible for many Japanese science-fiction movies including Godzilla!
