I've visited Cockatto Island for the Wolverine launch party, the whole area was used to film a significant number of scenes.
There was the mutant jail and research area, Wolverine's lab where he was created and a few other choice bits.
Hugh Jackman arrived at the launch via helicopter and ziplined ionto the stage from a clifftop to greet the crowd for breakfast radio interview.
It was pretty spesh.
