Look what I received today from the courier guy! Let's take a peep inside the bag.
It's the new Monopoly Deal Card Game and Risk Reinvention! Wait a minute. A Monopoly card game? Yes. It's their first foray into the card game market. It’s all the best bits of Monopoly in 20 minutes but emphasizes on-the-fly real estate negotiations in game play.
Risk Reinvention meanwhile is a redesigned version of the popular board game. It has a new look and modernized rules which allow players to streamline planning and executing strategic military campaigns, reducing average playing time to a fast and furious 90 minutes.
Looks like these two will keep me well occupied during the long May Day weekend. Many, many thanks Hasbro!
