Mythbusters build giant Lego ball
For the upcoming Mythbusters YouTube Special that will air on April 29th, Tory, Kari and Grant together with an army of volunteers spent two weeks building a giant Lego ball using a million Lego pieces. Video preview above. Their aim is to find out if this popular YouTube video - featuring a guy in an Indiana Jones costume running away from a giant Lego ball - is really real. I can't wait to watch the whole episode when it airs on Discovery. I love Mythbusters! Oh, and Kari is cute!

Wow, wow, wow! I can't wait!

And I'm jealous.
I don't think the Lego ball in the original Youtube is made of Lego. It bounces too much. Must be fake.
When will this be aired on Discovery Channel Singapore?
They'll bust this one. One lego piece weighs 2.5g. Supposedly there are 5,000,000 pieces in the youtube video. That would make that ball around 27,500lbs. It would have completely destroyed that car at the end of the video instead of just bumping into it and tripping the alarm. That is if those guys were able to get 27,500lbs off of that truck without a crane.
