How to make Starship Enterprise from office supplies

Dude teaches how you can make a Starship Enterprise using common office supplies like a wall clip, tape and some paper clips. It's real easy and the best part is that the saucer section of the Starship can be removed "for those battles you need it to remove". I wish someone teaches him how to take better photos.

Top 10 Retro Cartoon Birthday Cakes

I think for my birthday later this year, I would like to have this Bugs Bunny birthday cake or any of the cakes found in this top 10 list of retro cartoon birthday cakes. I love all these old cartoons and seeing them on a birthday cake definitely makes the cake look more delicious.

Love retro cartoons too? Then you should go watch my extensive list of 80's cartoon intros. And don't forget to sing along to their theme songs aye.

The redbookmag.com sex survey results

To find out what couples are really doing in bed, the folks over at redbookmag.com did a survey with more than 2,500 women. The results are spread over 5 pages. Go read them. Interesting. From Redbook:
Overall, most of you are pretty pleased with your sex lives — of those who currently have a partner, 64 percent rate your satisfaction level 3 or 4 out of 5, and 14 percent say it's a thrilling, couldn't-be-better 5. But as happy as you are, you'd still like more. A hefty majority (65 percent) of you wish you were having sex more often — nearly a quarter say a lot more often — while only 4 percent would like to have sex less often. The number one reason you're not getting it on as often as you'd like? You're too tired, say 46 percent of you. Women with children under 18 at home are also worried about the kids seeing or hearing (19 percent).

All Nippon Airways plane lands without front gear

A pilot of an All Nippon Airways (ANA) Bombardier DHC8-Q400 plane had to make a belly landing at Kochi Airport after he realised that his front landing gear did not come down. View the video here. Remarkably, all 56 passengers and 4 crew members were unhurt. Another pilot with a major airline praised the belly landing calling it "an ideal landing". After this incident, ANA grounded all its Bombardier planes for inspection and wouldn't resume service until their safety have been confirmed.

Stefan Didak's home office kicks ass!

I know it's only March but I'm beginning to compile a list of things I want to receive from Santa Claus this Christmas. The first on my list is Stefan Didak's home office desktop! I think I've just had an orgasm.

Update:
Reader GeekGod writes, "Not sure if this will give you an orgasm too, but you should check out the Spectrum from CineMassive." Ahem. (Thanks GeekGod)

Buddhist monks want help to deal with ant problem

Buddhist monks in a temple in Penang, Malaysia have an ant problem. They say that fire ants are biting people praying in the temple. Buddhists are not allowed to kill any living things so they are asking other people to help do the killing instead, calling it "the will of the universe". From BBC:
But the ants are dropping from the temple's sacred bodhi tree onto people meditating below - and when they bite it causes painful swelling.

The Venerable Boon Keng practises what he calls "letting go" meditation - so he "lets go" of the pain.

But out of consideration for worshippers less far along the path to enlightenment the monks are looking for ways to persuade the ants to go.

An attempt to remove them using a vacuum cleaner failed, so the Buddhist community is appealing for help.

They cannot encourage anyone to harm the ants, but the chief monk says that if someone turns up unbidden and deals with them without the monks' involvement then that is the will of the universe.
So, if any of you reading this are in Penang right now, do visit the temple and help these monks out aye. But make sure you show up uninvited and do not tell the monks what you plan to do or get them involved. Or else it won't be the will of the universe anymore.

Idiotic referee orders penalty kick to be repeated 6 times

YouTube Link

I'm not sure which teams were playing in this football match but this has got to be the most ridiculous/idiotic referee ever. He made sure that the penalty kick was taken 6 times before he was satisfied. I was looking at the video closely to find out what's wrong with the penalty kicks. Ok, maybe the other players may have stepped into the box when the penalty was taken but what the hell?! Was he being difficult or what?
