Happy 43rd Birthday Singapore and here's a song for you
Pastor Rony Tan, the founder of the megachurch Lighthouse, is not only good with his "healing" skills but he seems to be a pro at singing and song writing too. He sang and wrote The Singapore Song (watch the video above) as a "deep gratitude to our protective and caring government all these 43 years". He also dedicates it to Mr and Mrs Lee Kuan Yew.
So what do you think? Can Pastor Rony's The Singapore Song give the official NDP 2008 theme song a run for its money? Oh, and for those of you who want to catch the National Day Parade online, there's a live webcast starting from 5.45pm here. Enjoy the National Day and Happy Birthday Singapore!
