Acer tops netbook ranking in Japan
Acer is the favourite (29.9%) among Japanese in a survey on low-priced, compact, mini notebook PCs. ASUSTeK (19.8%), HP (13.6%) and Dell (11.9%) came in second, third and fourth respectively. The survey also asked respondents what they seek in mini notebook PCs. 80.8% of them are looking for "less weight" and 73.9% want "longer operation time", followed by "durability" (48.1%) and "coming with Microsoft Office" (34.6%).
