Wacom Klik.TV Draw Shootout wants you!
Klik.TV, the Official Online Broadcast Partner of the Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention 2009 (STGCC), has announced the Wacom Klik.TV Draw Shootout, an exciting Speed Drawing contest to be held at the convention.
The Wacom Klik.TV Draw Shootout will feature 6 artists. Each artist will try to outdraw his opponent in 4 to 7 minutes. There are 5 themes that the artist can choose: Superheroes, Battle Machines, Manga, Cute Animals and Sci-Fi. The artist will flip a coin onstage and whoever wins gets to call the theme and challenge his competitor. There will be a total of 2 Rounds: 6 artists in first round and 2 in the final. A scoring system will determine which 2 out of the 3 winners from the first round will battle it out in the final.
For the contest, Klik.TV is teaming up with Wacom, the world's leading manufacturer of pen tablets, interactive pen displays and digital interface solutions. Contestants will be drawing on Wacom’s Cintiq21, the premier interactive pen display for creative professionals.
Application for the Wacom Klik.TV Draw Shootout is done via email. Interested participants are required to send 3 drawings based on any of the above mentioned themes to my Klik.TV email address at iz[at]klik[dot]tv or izreloaded[at]gmail[dot]com no later than 5 August 2009 for selection. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
The winner of the Wacom Klik.TV Draw Shootout will walk away with a Intuos4 Medium tablet valued at S$599 and S$300 cash. Runner up will win a Bamboo Fun Medium tablet valued at S$299 and S$150 cash.
The Wacom Klik.TV Draw Shootout will be held on the main stage of STGCC at Suntec Singapore International Convention Convention and Exhibition Centre Halls 401 and 402 from 8.15pm on Friday 14 August 2009.
