Google Maps is good but I think Edushi (aka E-City) is the undisputed King of online maps. Check out their 3D maps for China and Hong Kong! Truly awesome. I can spend hours just exploring them. Makes you wish they have one for your city aye. Read more about the company behind the maps here.
