Inauguration Day Crowds shot from Space
GeoEye, a commercial satellite imagery company, took this image of the Inauguration Day crowds in Washington, D.C. using one of its satellites. You can easily spot the Capitol and of course the "forest" of people facing it. More than a million people were there to witness Barack Obama become the 44th President of USA.
