Partial Lunar Eclipse early Friday morning
Those of you who will be sleeping very late tonight, will be able to catch a partial eclipse of the moon. This event is best seen from Africa, Asia, Australia and Eastern Europe. For those in Singapore, the partial eclipse will begin at 2.05 am (Friday morning). This is a rather small partial eclipse- only 19% of the moon's northern limb will be covered by Earth's umbral shadow. The best time to watch it will be during greatest eclipse which will be at 2.51 am. The eclipse will end at 3.37 am. Let's hope for a clear sky tonight.
