I was intrigued after looking at this cool picture of the anatomy of Godzilla. It was taken from a book about Japanese monster anatomical drawings that was originally edited and issued in 1972. I found out that they did a recent reissue of the book (2008 edition) and it was sold in Japan for a short period of time. You can't buy it in bookstores anymore because it was discontinued but I found a dude who is selling two copies of the 2008 edition on eBay. He also posted some photos. Pretty cool stuff.
