Microscopic faces of Barack Obama made using nanotechnology

This Nanobama face consists of millions of vertically-aligned carbon nanotubes (tiny hollow cylinders of carbon) grown by a high temperature chemical reaction. The pictures were taken using optical and electron microscopes. Each Nanobama face is ten times the width of a human hair!
