Origami is an ultra mobile pc....yawn

Microsoft's much hyped Origami. Not an iPod killer. Not a PDA killer. Not a PSP killer. Not a laptop killer. It is just a personal computer that is getting real small. Microsoft's Origami partner Intel calls it the Ultra Mobile PC. I call it the big yawn.

Tablet pcs are far larger. These are the next generation. Smaller and slimmer.

I do not think people with a notebook and a pda or smartphone will buy this.

The devices have a battery life of three hours?!! What will be better than all these new small form devices is a battery that can last longer than current ones. There is no point designing hardware that can provide long batter life because there is so much power that can be stored in the battery. We need someone to design newer and better batteries.
