A replica model of the Mil-24V Hind helicopter took 15 years and more than 8000 hours to complete. The work on building this model began in Kiev in 1986 and it was completed in Canada in 2001. There are over 100,000 parts used in this model, many of them fabricated under a microscope!(Thanks Dav)
