Comet Holmes is getting larger!

Photo above shows Comet Holmes as it expands rapidly in size. According to the astrophotographer who took it, Comet Holmes should be half as wide as the full moon come Sunday. The comet's brightness is still at around magnitude 2.5 - bright enough to be spotted without any binoculars or telescopes. If you haven't seen Comet Holmes yet, give it a try this weekend. Just face North at around midnight and you'll spot it at the constellation of Perseus. I'll be hoping to see it again later tonight - this time, with my telescope. For more info, read my previous Comet Holmes posts.
