Want this lady to do your cloning?

Take at a look at this pic (taken from Boing Boing). If you want to be cloned, do you trust this lady to do it for you? Take a look at her again. I think not.

She is Dr. Brigitte Boisselier, head of Clonaid. Yesterday, I blogged about Clonaid's job offer to Hwang Woo-Suk, a Korean scientist who was making the news recently for faking his human cloning experiment. Newsday has a story published in 2001 which profiles Dr. Boiselier.

She looks so scary that I would not want to be near her.

Also, she reminds me of my secondary school principal. Horrors!

If Clonaid wants to be treated seriously, simple, just show the proof that they have successfully created a clone.

On December 27, 2002, Dr. Brigitte Boisselier, a Raelian bishop and CEO of Clonaid, announced to the world press that Clonaid had successfully cloned a human being. Boisselier said that the mother delivered by Caesarean section somewhere outside the United States, and that both the mother and the little girl, Eve, are healthy.

I don't know which is worse: a cloning company run by an alien cult or a cloning company run by her.
