Virginia Tech killer sent multimedia manifesto to NBC News

The student that killed 32 people at Virginia Tech sent a multimedia manifesto to NBC News between the shootings. The package was received by NBC News only on Tuesday morning (US time). It includes a DVD with 27 QuickTime video files, photos and an 1,800-word manifesto-like statement. View the photos here and watch a video report by NBC News on the multimedia manifesto here.

There could be tens or hundreds of disturbed/sick/ill/depressed students like him all over the US? And if all of them have easy access to weapons, they could all be doing something similar. Can you imagine the carnage in schools?

There's a debate going on about whether NBC should have shown his videos to the public in the first place.

I think NBC did the right thing. His videos do give us a clearer picture on what kind of person he is and why he did it.
