Archive of photographs of the sky above Amsterdam
The folks over at Sky-catcher left a specially programmed Canon Powershot camera on the roof of a building in the center of Amsterdam to automatically shoot images of the sky every 5 minutes. The camera has been taking photos since July 2005 - imagine the amount of images they've collected in their massive archive!

There are many such white streaks floating around in Netherlands, the volume of flights here is amazing....and its easier to see since the terrain is flat everywhere!
